Characteristics of Prohibition Signs
Prohibition signs have a red circle with a white background. They prohibit a certain action and apply from the sign until they are canceled by a cancellation sign, an intersection, or a new zone sign.

Common Pitfalls
- Confusing no stopping with no parking. No stopping means you cannot even stop to drop off passengers.
- Forgetting that prohibition signs are normally canceled at the next intersection unless otherwise indicated.
- Overlooking that no overtaking also applies to tractors and slow-moving vehicles.
