In densely built-up areas there are many vulnerable road users, intersections, and unpredictable situations. The speed limit is lower, and you must be extra attentive.

Vulnerable road users

• Pedestrians may cross the road unexpectedly, especially children and the elderly.
• Cyclists may appear from sidewalks or bike lanes.
• At crosswalks, pedestrians have the right of way, and you should stop in good time.
• Be extra cautious at bus stops where passengers may step into the road.

Intersections and right of way

Parking and stopping

• Do not park closer than 5 meters from intersections or crosswalks.
• Respect parking signs and time limits.
• Carefully check blind spots and mirrors when leaving the parking space.

Public transport

You must stop for a bus leaving a stop on roads with a speed limit of 60 km/h or lower. Watch for the bus’s indicators.
