What is the Social Studies Test?
The Social Studies Test is a mandatory test that assesses your knowledge of Norwegian society. The test covers topics such as democracy, rights, working life, health, and education. It is part of the requirements for obtaining permanent residence or Norwegian citizenship.
Who must take the test?
The test is mandatory for individuals between 18 and 67 years old who are applying for permanent residence or citizenship. It applies to persons who have received residence permits after September 1, 2013, and is part of the mandatory introduction program.
